Finishing 2007 with a BANG!
Just before we left town for the holidays I
received some excellent news -- one of my images placed in the latest AGWPJA contest!
For those of you who aren't familiar with the lingo, that's code for the
Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association. The only way to
become a member of the AGWPJA is -- first to be accepted as a member of the WPJA
-- and then to place within the top ten of an AGWPJA image contest.... If you
take a spin through the winning images, you'll see that this is not an easy
feat. I am so incredibly proud to be included in this amazing group of
international award-winning photographers. Below is a shot of our winning image
(see the judge's comments at the bottom)!
I am so excited about what's to come in 2008. This year has been an incredible run....I've met so many amazing people on my travels and I am so thankful to all of my clients for bringing me along as part of their day. In 2007, of the many destinations we traveled to for various shoots, these were a few of our favorites: Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, North Carolina, Georgia, Denmark, Germany, and Russia. I've already got a ton of great trips on the calendar for '08, including Aruba, China, North Carolina, Delaware, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, and I'm ready for more! I'd really love to head out to the Colorado/Montana/Utah area this year, so if anyone is looking for (or knows of someone looking for) a wedding/portrait photographer in any of those areas, please let me know. I promise I'll take very good care of them. :) And as always, our passports are current and we're ready to join you wherever you might be headed!
