Michelle & Paul's big day . Nanticoke, MD

A few weeks ago I drove down to Nanticoke -- a sweet little beach town on the coast of Maryland -- to shoot Michelle & Paul's wedding. I can't say enough great things about this bride & groom and their families -- everyone was so kind and really into the day. Michelle & Paul celebrated their wedding with a very peaceful, moving Quaker ceremony right on the ocean. And after a few photos, the whole party strolled back down the street to the reception, which was a tent overlooking the ocean and a scrumptious clam bake. Apparently Paul loves clamming and really knows his stuff when it comes to all of that, so he hopped right in and helped out with the cooking. I loved how everyone chipped in to make their day easy and relaxed. And the warm sunny weather just topped the day off!

Here are a few favorites from the day!

a fun ring shot....can you spot them??

This little guy kept jumping in front of my lens all day, so at the end of the day I gave him his own little portrait shoot. I think he enjoyed it. :)

Michelle & Paul traded in their bridal gear for some comfier clothes toward the end of the day, which I thought was awesome. I think this shot embodies the fun, relaxed feel of their big day perfectly!

Michelle & Paul -- thanks for teaching me the best way to crack into a crab....and for making me feel so welcome! It was an honor being there for your amazing day. :)
