Erika & Eamon's Big Day:: Villanova, PAOkay, I'm a little behind on this one -- thanks
for your patience everyone!! A few weeks ago I was out at the gorgeous
Appleford Estates for Eamon & Erika's wedding -- which was totally stunning!
Their wedding date happened to fall on Bastille Day, so E&E had planned lots
of cool wedding details with a french theme....combined with Eamon's very Irish
background, and it was a day made in heaven! They and their family and friends
were all so sweet and excited -- it was a great group of people to spend the day
with.
Erika & Eamon booked my services right over email, so I didn't actually meet them until they arrived at the mansion to get ready -- I'm a sucker for a good surprise, so I think it's pretty fun to meet the bride and groom on their wedding day! :) We started out with some shots of all of the ladies getting ready in the bride's suite upstairs..... Erika's Nicole Miller dress was simple and gorgeous. Love it! ![]() Checking out the reception being set up below.... ![]() ![]() ![]()
![]() ![]() Afterward I scooted downstairs to the "Grooms Room" to shoot Eamon and the guys and all of their prep.... ![]() ![]() The rings....(with a little dual exposure rust texture overlay pulled through at around 23% for all you photogs out there....) ![]() E&E had decided to see each other before the ceremony to get their formal shots done early so they could enjoy the cocktail hour with all of their guests. Eamon was so bent on not peeking at Erika that even when she walked up and was standing right beside him, he wouldn't look at her! Don't worry, though. They got the hang of it after a minute, see? :) ![]() ![]() ![]() The ceremony took place on the grounds at the Appleford, below an enormous willow tree and just in front of a pond with a bubbling waterfall -- gorgeous! And the weather could not have been better. It was a little warm out, but E&E had planned ahead -- and made their programs into fans for their guests too cool off with! Such a great idea.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And a few shots from the reception.... At the end of the night, they served big trays of milk & cookies! What's better than that?! Clearly these are my kind of people.... :) ![]() ![]() I loved this idea.... they had an antique typewrite set out on a table along with some great funky paper for guests to type notes to the newlyweds! ![]() Erika's dad had a rebellious kick....he ditched his Bastille Day french flag and replaced it with a mini jolly roger! ![]() ![]() ![]() And of course, one last fun shot from the day..... ![]() E&E: What a fabulous day! It was an honor to be there with you.... And to everyone: thanks for your patience! :) Posted: Wed - July 25, 2007 at 01:16 AM |
