Amanda & Daniel's Big Day:: Ithaca, NY

A few weeks ago I joined my amazingly talented pal Robert Kaussner at the Robert Treman Park in Ithaca, NY to secondshoot Daniel and Amanda's wedding. The day was absolutely gorgeous and Amanda and Daniel put together some of the coolest wedding details I've seen....nevermind that they and their friends were all such laidback fun people. Robert and I started out the day in the state park bathroom where Amanda was happily getting dressed -- I love it! It was actually a really fun challenge squeezing in and out of the stalls for shots, ducking each others' lenses, and dealing with the fluorescent lighting and concrete walls. In the end, I think it made for some very juicy getting ready shots! Check 'em out....

Daniel and Amanda decided to see each other before the ceremony to do some formal (informal) shots, and Daniel just couldn't stop grinning when he first saw Amanda all fancied up....

The outdoor ceremony (held under a very cool huppah crafted by a local Ithaca artist) was so sweet and touching....

There were just way too many cool details to post, so I put together a little collection of my favorites. :)

After the reception, we took Amanda & Daniel for a little walk through the gorge for a few last shots together....and ended up hiking for over an hour! It's always good to get a little exercise on a wedding day. We were having so much fun, and we just kept finding more great nooks and beautiful spots to stop. It was definitely worth it, despite the serious bruising my shoes took. :) (Who doesn't love an excuse to get new shoes, right?!)

Such an amazing, fun day.....thanks everyone! (And a special thanks to Robert for inviting me to join him in shooting such an excellent day!)
