Allison & Dave's big day - Bethlehem, PA

This weekend I had the huge pleasure of shooting Dave & Allie's wedding in Bethlehem, PA. What an unbelievably great day! They are such a sweet, laidback couple, and their family and friends were a blast. Plus, they threw a killer party!

We started our day with the guys over at Bethlehem BrewWorks...

the very handsome groom, Dave. My assistant (Wanda) thought we should send a few of his shots off to GQ... Too bad they don't take random submissions!

We had a little fun with the ring shot.....can you find 'em?

Next we headed over to grab a few shots of the bride getting ready... Allison looked absolutely stunning!

The ladies were all getting ready in Allie's old bedroom at her parents' house, and I couldn't resist this shot of her old ballet shoes..... Quite different from the shoes she's wearing these days!

A few getting ready giggles:

The flowers (expertly done by Michael Thomas) were gorgeous!

I love this moment we caught of Allison and her mom....

we weren't allowed to take any photos during the ceremony, but we did grab a shot of the brand new newlyweds looking all happy. :)

After the ceremony, we walked across the street to do a few formal shots on the Lehigh campus. The bridesmaids were a hoot all day long!

We stole Allie & Dave for a few more portraits around the shops and streets in downtown Bethlehem. They were such great sports! They didn't even laugh at me when I layed on my stomach in the dirt to get a shot.... :)

The laying on the ground shot.....totally worth it!!

After a few minutes of shooting, we headed over to their reception at the fabulous Historic Hotel Bethlehem. What an amazing setup! Their cakes were pretty great....

....but not half as great as their entrance into the reception through the bridal party tunnel!!! This is a pretty good example of how the rest of the night went. Paris Kiriakis from Good Vibrations provided the music for the night and he did an unbelievable job (plus, he's a dead ringer for a younger Christopher Walken, which doesn't have anything to do with the music, but it just makes the night more fun).

The best man's toast included a life-sized Grover puppet. I won't say any more.... :)

Their first dance was so sweet:

and one last shot from the day:

Thanks Allison & Dave -- it was an incredible day! We can't wait to get to work on your albums! :)
