Heading out to Boston...

So we're just packing up to head to Boston for a couple of shoots and to spend some time with my family, and I thought I'd post a few interesting snaps from the last few days. Here's the story behind them...

My home is in an absolutely gorgeous location in the mountains of PA. It's peaceful, laid-back, hilly, and filled with wild flowers, hay fields, millions of cows and old barns, and unbelievable sunsets and sunrises.... I have a hard time imagining how you could make this place more gorgeous, and I find it pretty impossible not to carry my (huge, unwieldy) camera bag around with me everywhere I go.

However...when I moved here two years ago, I came straight from Boston, where I had lived for the last 5 years, and I think in many ways, my photography style is influenced by the "city girl" that I used to be. It'll always be part of me, and that's why I love shooting weddings in Philadelphia, New York, Boston, and other cities around the U.S. It's also why sometimes -- despite these amazing fields and sunsets -- I feel the itch to spice up the gorgeous wildflower shots, and bring something a little more electric to them.

So, long story short, here are a couple of my "spicy nature" shots for you to enjoy....

After Boston I'll be home for two days and then off to another wedding in New York, but I'll be checking email and voicemail while I'm gone. Have a great weekend!
