Huge News!!!
I could not be more excited to tell you all that
we just received word of my official acceptance into the Wedding Photojournalist
Association (WPJA)!!!
Yahoo!
For those of you who don't know, the WPJA is an extremely discerning international organization that accepts only the most talented wedding photographers in the industry.... To become a member, your portfolio is reviewed by a panel, and all of the images must meet and/or exceed their strict technical, creative, and visual photojournalistic standards.... So it is truly a HUGE honor and accomplishment to be accepted as a member of the WPJA. :) And in case you can't tell, I am officially CRAZY excited. This is just one more incredible step for our business which has been growing at an unbelievable rate. We have been getting TONS of amazing inquiries every day, and our 2008 dates are goin' like hotcakes! (For those of you reading this who've sent us an inquiry and haven't heard back yet, don't worry, you will! Our email box has been completely flooded for the past few weeks, so we're doing our best to get back to everyone as quickly as possible. We promise we'll reply to everyone as soon as we can!) :)
Aaaaaannnnnnddddd, because I didn't think it would be right to post such a fun announcement without a super fun image to go along with it, here's a sweet little shot for ya! This one is from Tiffany & Michael's excellent wedding that I shot this past weekend at Evviva in Philadelphia. I haven't had a chance to blog their wedding yet because I've been so busy and I'm heading out to shoot an e-session all day today, but I'll definitely post some more images from their big day very very soon!
